Culver’s raises 500K for Thank You Farmers
Culver’s restaurant chain says it has raised 500-thousand dollars this year in its Thank You Farmers Project for a total of $3.5 million dollars over eight years.
Culver’s says the money raised through promotions directly supports people making a positive impact in the food and ag industry. The projects include an FFA Essay Contest, local share nights to support organizations like FFA and the Scoops of Thanks Day, offering customers a scoop of frozen custard for a dollar every May 6th.
This year, Culver’s says it also joined the Decade of Ag Movement – a shared vision for a climate-smart ag system that secures the nation’s food supply.
