House bill would remove wolf from endangered species list

Another effort is being made in the U.S. House to remove the gray wolf from the list of endangered and threatened wildlife.

House Resolution 764 is nearly identical to a bill that failed to move through the Democrat-controlled House in 2020, except this time, the bill also has language saying if passed, the final rule from the Secretary of the Interior shall not be subject to judicial review.  U.S. District Judge Jeffrey White from northern California restored protections for the wolf in most of the U.S.
