The National FFA Organization has named its 2022 American Star finalists.

The four American Star Farmer nominees are:

  • Peter Bliss from the Merced-Golden Valley FFA Chapter in California
  • Blake Frascht from the Charles City, Iowa FFA Chapter
  • Zane Hagemeyer from the Elmwood, Ohio FFA Chapter
  • Emily Makos from the Juda, Wisconsin FFA Chapter

American Star in Agricultural Placement nominees are:

  • Case Edwards from the Wetumpka, Alabama FFA Chapter
  • Cory Yarbrough from the Madison County High School FFA Chapter in Georgia
  • Jacob Wuebker from the Versailles Ohio FFA Chapter
  • Emma Victery from the Chickasha, Oklahoma FFA Chapter

American Star in Agriscience finalists are:

  • Danae Westra from Visalia-Central Valley Christian FFA Chapter in California
  • Marin Lonnee from Oconee County High FFA Chapter in Georgia
  • Sydney Hefty from the Dekalb FFA Chapter in Indiana
  • Ryan Hess from the Stephenville FFA Chapter in Texas

The American Star in Agribusiness nominees are:

  • Terrance Crayton from the Wetumpka FFA Chapter in Alabama
  • Kaitlyn Hart from the Colquitt County FFA Chapter in Georgia
