Winter wheat harvest starts in Kansas
Winter wheat harvest has gotten underway across the Kansas.
The latest crop progress and condition report says two percent of the crop is in with 26 percent rated good-to-excellent.
Corn is in 58 percent good-to-excellent shape with 83 percent of the crop up.
Soybeans are rated 62 percent good-to-excellent with 55 percent emerged.
Thirty-one percent of cotton is rated good-to-excellent.
Sorghum planted is 54 percent.
Pasture and range conditions are rated 41 percent good-to-excellent.
