Soccer skills clinics begin Jan. 15 at Muscatine Parks & Recreation

An introductory program will be offered by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department this winter to teach fundamental soccer skills to boys and girls in Kindergarten through the third grade. Trained staff will lead this once-a-week instructional program using a variety of fun drills and scrimmages during the course of the four week program.

The Soccer Skills Clinic will take place on Saturdays (January 15 – February 8) in the Central Middle School Gymnasium. Children in Kindergarten and first grade will participate from 8:30-9:25 a.m. while children in second and third grades will take to the gym floor from 9:30-10:25 a.m.

Registration is currently underway and will continue through January 13. Registration fee is $25.00 per child for Muscatine residents and $30.00 per child for non-residents. A tee shirt is included in the fee.
