Beck’s Hybrids expanding services westward

The acquisition of two new facilities will allow the nation’s largest family-owned retail seed company to expand their services to farmers in Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Beck’s Hybrids says their new 150-acre site in Goehner, Nebraska will provide western farmers with sales support, distribution, educational and agronomic opportunities. 100 acres will be dedicated to Beck’s Practical Farm Research field trials. The facility will be partially operational in 2022 with completion expected in 2023.

Beck’s will also acquire the Hartung Brothers facility in Coon Rapids, Iowa on January 1, 2022 for corn and soybean production, processing and distribution adding to their focus on the region after the purchase of a soybean processing facility in Beaman, Iowa earlier this year.
