Joel Lee Neely Sr., 78, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021, at his home.

Joel was born on April 27, 1943, in Muscatine, the son of Raymond and Charlene Edwards Neely. He married Linda K. Millage in 2013.
He graduated from Muscatine High School and was a welder for Prime Mover Manufacturing Company. He attended Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Joel loved music and had his own band called TZRR. They were a classic rock county band.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Neely of Muscatine; three children, Jennifer Haney and husband, Scott, of Muscatine, Summer Neely of Muscatine, and Joel Neely Jr. of Florida; two step-children, Lisa A. Gallery and husband, Chester J., of Hudson, and Carey A. Fortenbacher and husband, Karl, of Muscatine; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
