New MO state FFA officers look forward to service
Missouri’s 93rd annual State FFA Convention was held on the Missouri State Fairgrounds in Sedalia Friday and Saturday. It ushered in Missouri FFA’s 2021-2022 state officer team.
Incoming President Kaitlin Kleiboeker tells Brownfield she’s ready to help FFA members across the state find their role in agriculture.
“Motivating and inspiring upcoming FFA members to step out of their comfort zone and be the leaders that they truly are,” she said.
Kleiboeker said although convention was held in a different venue with limited attendance, it still felt the same.
Newly elected 1st Vice President Abigail Miller tells Brownfield she’s ready to make a difference for Missouri FFA with her background spanning both from a small town and Columbia.
“I see the urban – rural divide and I want to bring those two groups together,” she said. “I think that’s necessary and that’s something that I really want to strive for in my year of service to Missouri FFA.”
The convention featured guest speakers including Missouri State Fair Director Mark Wolfe and Missouri Ag Director Chris Chinn.
