Iowa’s planting pace is three weeks ahead of normal
Corn and soybean planting in Iowa are nearing the finish line, almost three weeks ahead of average.
As of Sunday, 96 percent of corn and 86 percent of soybeans were planted. Emergence stood at 62 percent on corn and 25 percent for soybeans.
Hay condition rated 71 percent good to excellent and pastures rated 62 percent good to excellent.
