MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Dear Friends,
As we gather around the twinkling lights and festive decorations that kick off the Christmas season, I want to take a moment to share my warmest wishes with each of you. This magical time of year—filled with cherished traditions and joyful celebrations—offers us the perfect opportunity for reflection and gratitude. It’s a time to connect with loved ones, treasure the memories we’ve created, and look forward to the wonderful possibilities that await us in the coming year. May the spirit of Christmas fill your hearts with joy and warmth!
First of all, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all those working diligently behind the scenes to keep our community safe and functioning smoothly. Thank you to our council members, administration, human resources, communications, finance and records, parking, information technology, community development, housing, arts and culture, emergency management, fire and EMS, police department, library, parks and recreation, public works, public transit, solid waste management, water and resource recovery, and stormwater departments, as well as our local business owners. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.
I would like to also express my heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated teachers. Their commitment to education and the well-being of our children is truly commendable. To our frontline workers, we cannot thank you enough for your bravery and dedication. You have been our heroes, working
tirelessly to ensure the health and safety of our community. From healthcare professionals to emergency responders and all essential workers, your selflessness and commitment inspire us all. Thank you for your service and sacrifices.
As we celebrate this joyful season and look forward to a new year filled with hope and promise, let us remember the true spirit of this time—kindness, generosity, and unity. By embracing these values, we can uplift one another and continue to build a stronger, more resilient community.
From my family to yours, I wish you a joyful Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! God Bless and Be Your Best!
