This Sunday, December 15, artist Veda Baker will lead fellow creatives at Red Barn Studio’s “A Silver Winter.” This festive painting class will instruct participants on how to use cool tones and silver leaf to create their very own winter wonderland in the form of a take-home art piece.
All supplies are included in the set price of $15 ($13.50 for Art Center members) and no prior painting experience is necessary.
Those interesting in attending should register by the deadline on Friday, December 13.
The Muscatine Art Center is located at 1314 Mulberry Avenue.

Kassidy Watson-Perry is a 26-year-old multimedia creator currently residing in North Carolina. A creatively driven individual since she was a youngster, Kassidy is a 2021 honors graduate of Elizabeth City State University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Arts. During her time there, she gained extensive insight into the world of mass media including but not limited to radio and film/television. In addition, she explored the versatile world of digital marketing and public relations. She considers herself a jack of all trades. Her coursework has ranged from Technical Writing, to Social Media Analysis, to Broadcast Journalism. Kassidy currently works as a content writer for the Voice of Muscatine.
