Pearl Mae Bahr, 100, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at her home.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Online condolences: www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Graveside Service will be at 2 p.m., on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, in Greenwood Cemetery. Reverend Sharon Phillips will officiate.
Pearl was born on January 12, 1924, in Muscatine, the daughter of Lyman and Nellie Pasdach Thorpe. Her first husband was Delwyn Evans. She then went on to marry Fred C. Bahr. He preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge and loved to travel.
Those left to honor her memory include, her daughter, Joyce Evans-Viner of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Julie Viner-Wilson, Melissa Viner-Rhodes, and Angela Evans-Rickless; seven great grandchildren, Amy Hahn, Clayton Wilson, Merissa Rhodes, Tori Reed, James Rocha, Tristan Rickless, and Alexandra Evans; 15 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Lyman and Nellie (Pasdach) Thorpe; her husband, Fred; son, Gary Lee Evans; siblings, Charles Thorpe, Gilbert Thorpe, Jack Thorpe, Delano Thorpe, Bob Thorpe, and June Smith; granddaughter, Michelle Evans; and great grandson, Colton Wilson.
