Habitat for Humanity celebrates 14th home dedication in Muscatine

Muscatine County Habitat for Humanity will host a heartfelt Home Dedication Ceremony on November 16th  at 1 p.m. at 619 Hope Ave, celebrating the completion of a new home built for Stasha Wilks and her children. The event marks the culmination of months of hard work and dedication from volunteers, donors, and Habitat for Humanity supporters who came together to make homeownership a reality for a local family in need.

The ceremony will begin at 1pm and will include remarks from Habitat for Humanity staff, the homeowner, community leaders, and volunteers who made the project possible. It will be followed by a symbolic key handover and a tour of the newly completed home, which will serve as a foundation for a brighter future for the Wilks Family.

The Wilks home is part of Habitat for Humanity’s broader mission to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through affordable homeownership. Habitat for Humanity works with families and individuals to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing, as well as the opportunity to build equity and invest in their future. Since its founding, Habitat for Humanity has helped thousands of families achieve homeownership across the world.
