Public meeting to be held on MUSCO Sports Center usage, guidelines

The City of Muscatine and the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department will host a public meeting from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 4, in the lower-level conference room at Muscatine City Hall.

The City is seeking comments from the public in regard to the development of usage rules and other guidelines for the MUSCO Sports Center that is currently under construction.

Staff members will be present to discuss with attendees many key items in respect to the usage of and guidelines for the MUSCO Sports Center facility. Additional meetings and discussions may also be proposed depending on the input received.

If any individuals or groups cannot make the meeting, individual meetings can be set up by contacting the Parks and Recreation office at (563) 263-0241. Additionally, interested individuals are welcome to attend the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 in the lower-level conference room of Muscatine City Hall where the topic will also be discussed.
