Allison Paige McCleery, 33, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Allison was born on March 25, 1991, in Muscatine, the daughter of Gregory A. and Marsi A. Gordon Adcock. She married Tug McCleery on May 2, 2017, in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
Allison graduated from Muscatine High School in 2009. She then graduated from Iowa Wesleyan University in 2012 with her business degree and from St. Ambrose University in 2018 with her master’s in business. She worked at Drive Social Media as director of operations in Nashville, Tennessee.
Allison loved watching sports, especially the Yankees, Hawkeyes, and wherever her husband was coaching. She enjoyed book and wine club with her Tennessee girls. Allison also enjoyed traveling. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially with her son, Kannon.
Allison will be deeply missed by her husband, Tug McCleery of Muscatine; her son, Kannon Thomas McCleery of Muscatine; her parents, Greg and Marsi Adcock, both of Muscatine; her brother, Austin Adcock, of Muscatine; mother and father-in-law, Thomas and Tami McCleery; maternal grandparents, Mike and Carole Gordon; many friends and family; and dogs, Hayden and Tate.
Allison is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Dwaine and Patti Adcock.
