Sections of Cedar Street and Iowa Avenue will be closed to traffic starting as early as Monday, June 17, according to the Department of Public Works.

Cedar Street will be closed to all traffic from the intersection with East 8th Street to just past the East 9th Street intersection starting as early as Monday as part of Phase 6AB of the West Hill Sanitary and Storm Sewer Separation Project. Northbound Cedar Street traffic will be detoured onto East 8th Street to Mulberry Avenue to Parham Street and back to Cedar Street. Southbound will be detoured onto Parham to Mulberry, to East 8th, and back to Cedar.

Underground work and pavement restoration is tentatively scheduled to be completed August 21, weather permitting.
