Robert Eugene Middagh, 82, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, at Lutheran Living.
Graveside service with military honors will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Nichols Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Robert was born on December 14, 1941, in Iowa City, the son of William Frederick Middaugh and Genevieve Alta Hillyer.
Robert was very respectful to others, and he managed his money with great care, which he learned from his mother who he dearly loved. He worked on his stepfather’s farm for many years and enjoyed that work.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
