Wisconsin farmer eyes exports for price support

A farmer in southeastern Wisconsin is looking to the export market to help firm up corn prices.

Ken Rosenow of Oconomowoc is a director on the Wisconsin Corn Promotion Board and serves on the Western Hemisphere A-team for the U.S. Grains Council.

He says ethanol plants and livestock producers are two primary customers.

“But I think when you look at the markets every day, if there’s a jump in them it’s because somebody didn’t buy this or somebody did buy (that).
