An Indiana young farmer says she’d like to see renewed efforts to connect students to agricultural educational opportunities.
Henry County Farm Bureau Young Farmer & Ag Professionals co-chair Jessica Wenning tells Brownfield schools have hesitated to resume some pre-pandemic activities.
Wenning1 “I would like to see us be able to go back to having a strong relationship where we can have more opportunities to connect with elementary-age students or even high school students to teach them more about agriculture, where their food comes from different opportunities that ag could have for them,” she says.
