The USDA says harvest is winding down in Nebraska.
As of Sunday, 84% of the state’s expected corn crop has been harvested, behind 89% last year, but ahead of 78% for the five-year average.
The soybean harvest is 95% done, near the five-year average of 96%.
Sorghum harvested was 82%, near 85% last year.
USDA says winter wheat condition was rated 50% good to excellent.
