Ohio farmer sees good yields despite slow dry down

A northwest Ohio farmer says he’s down to his last soybean field to harvest this week.

Jeff Duling tells Brownfield soybean yields have been average.

“It’s in that 65–70-bushel range, very happy,” he shares.  “Corn’s wet, I’d say 26 moisture, 27 moisture average maybe more.”

Duling says there hasn’t been a significant rain since February and crops have still been late maturing.  He’s questioning how much impact the Canadian wildfires might have had.
