Put on through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International, the New Era Dinner Theatre is set to present Godspell on Friday, September 29; Saturday, September 30; and Sunday, October 1.
Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 6 p.m. and the final performance on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak, the production will feature familiar music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.
The New Era Dinner Theater menu for each of the three performances is as follows:
- Chicken breast
- Parsley potatoes
- New era green beans
- Tossed salad
- A roll
- A beverage
- A dessert
Godspell will be the 28th production of the New Era Dinner Theater with all proceeds benefitting Lutheran World Relief, Muscatine Salvation Army, and New Era Lutheran Church. Ticket prices start $30 for adults and are $20 for children.
