NASDA elects Arthur as new president

Oklahoma Ag Secretary Blayne Arthur is the new president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture.

Arthur says agriculture looks different all across the U.S., but NASDA members have the same purpose of representing their farming and ranching communities. “There are states that are livestock-strong states and some that are crop-strong states,” she said. “We want to make sure everyone has a place at the table and a voice so that we can all collectively move forward together.”

She tells Brownfield the association plays a critical role in strengthening the industry.
