Crop conditions decline in Ohio

Warm weather further dried some parts of Ohio last week and increased crop stress.

The USDA says corn is now rated at 82 percent good to excellent with 95 percent in the dough stage, 53 percent dented, and 11 percent mature.  About 27 percent of corn has been harvested for silage.

Soybeans are eight percent dropping leaves with 75 percent of the crop in good to excellent condition.

Pastures and rangelands are rated 68 percent in good to excellent shape.
