Indiana farmer hoping for rain after

A west central Indiana farmer says his crops could use some rain after wrapping up planting.

Kevin Cox says a wet and cool start turned into a warm and dry finish to the season.

“That’s probably the biggest need we have right now to get this crop up and going,” he says.

He tells Brownfield the 10-day forecast isn’t calling for rain.

“You get into these kinds of conditions and humidity starts to climb so you might have some pop-up storms, but those don’t typically give you that wide-spread rainfall,” he says.
