Weather has complicated early season weed control for a central Iowa farmer.
Corey Hillebo of Polk City says windy conditions have been persistent this spring.
“That was another challenge in itself. When we were planting beans a couple weeks ago, it was constant 30 (to) 40 mile-per-hour winds it felt like just everyday. So the planter was rolling but the sprayer was not.”
He tells Brownfield he’s mostly caught up on spraying.
