Scott C. Sayles, 55, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.

Scott was born on May 4, 1968, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the son of John and Gayle Leonard Sayles.
Scott graduated with his associate degree from Marycrest College. Later, he worked as a paralegal. He was a teacher and administrator in China, the Far East, and in Saudi Arabia.
Scott loved all sports, especially the Hawkeyes, Bears, and Cubs. He also enjoyed watching movies.
Scott is survived by his parents; children, Aleecia Jean Sayles and Willow Feng Sayles and Willow’s mother, Amelia Sayles; grandson, Elijah Sayles; siblings, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Cynthia, and John.
