Gary Adams, 71, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the University of Iowa.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences can be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 12, 2023, at the funeral home. Pastor Cindy Axtel will officiate.
Burial will be immediately following in High Prairie Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at High Prairie Church.
Gary was born on February 21, 1952, in Muscatine, the son of Leonard T. and Ruby Brockert Adams.
Gary was a farmer and a member of the Farm Bureau. Gary enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting, and bowling.
Gary is survived by siblings, Robert Adams and wife, Arlene, Mary Newton, Carl Adams and wife, Sue, Judy Wilson and husband Tom, Dale Adams, and Neal Adams.
He is preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; sister-in-law, Pam; brother-in-law Thomas Thomsen; and still born brother, Jeffrey Scott.
