A South Dakota cow/calf producer says he’s looking forward to a better year of hay production, but Todd Wilkinson says, “Right now we need some heat”.
He tells Brownfield the snow cover is gone, and he needs some warmer weather to get the grass out of dormancy. “I’m three weeks away from turn out on our cow herd and it would sure be great if those pastures were able to get a real jump,” he says.
