A southwest Minnesota farmer is concerned about the Waters of the U.S. rule.
Bryan Biegler of Lake Wilson says he’s paying close attention as several U.S. district courts block WOTUS and with a Supreme Court ruling expected soon.
“Certainly with the new rule that (the Biden administration) has coming about, they aren’t going to be overly favorable for us. There’s definitely some work (to be done), so hopefully with these courts stopping them that we get some time to look it over a little bit more and comment on (the rule).”
He tells Brownfield the WOTUS rule could be detrimental to his and many other farming operations.
