It could be May before a farmer in southwest Minnesota is able to begin fieldwork.

Mark Enninga of Fulda says his area received a large amount of snow over the winter and conditions remain cool and wet.

“We’ve still got quite a bit of snow melting out of the shelter belts and the groves, so there may have been some spots in the fields that were fit to go, but not the full field.
