House voting again on WOTUS disapproval

The House is expected to try and override President Biden’s veto this afternoon to advance a resolution of disapproval under the Congressional Review Act to stop the updated Waters of the United States rule.

American Farm Bureau Executive Vice President Joby Young tells Brownfield Congress needs a two-thirds majority to over-turn the veto.

He says it’s unclear how the vote will go in the House, but this Congressional action and the preliminary injunction approved last week reinforce the lack of clarity with the rule.
