April warm-up flips field conditions

A week of dry, warm weather has rapidly changed field activities in the Great Lakes state.

Mid-Michigan crop farmer Tim Boring tells Brownfield field conditions have had a major turnaround.

“I think a lot of farmers in Michigan would have told you a week ago, ‘Man we’ve had a lot of rain, what’s it going to look like for us in the next few weeks as we’re going to try to get in the field?’ and evidently June has hit,” he says.
