Nona Jarrett, 95, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Lutheran Living Senior Campus.
Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Calvary Church or Spring Valley Bible Camp. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com.
Nona was born on March 2, 1928, in Muscatine, the daughter of Kenneth Edward and Ida Brier Eisele. She was raised by John and Elizabeth Brier, her maternal grandparents. She married Lauren Jarrett on October 9, 1945, in Atalissa. He preceded her in death on December 4, 2022.
Nona was a reflexologist for 60 years starting in 1956 and retiring in 2016. During this time, she also worked in retail. She was also a member of the Calvary Church.
Nona enjoyed working, needle point, cross stitching, reading, and photography. She loved spending time with her family and going on trips with her husband, Lauren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Jarrett and Fern McFadon and her husband, Terry, all of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Devin Pettit, Tim McFadon, Shonna McFadon, and Chad McFadon; five great grandchildren, Tawney, Seth, Jake, Luke, and Nile; and great great grandchildren, Calahan and Harlow.
Nona is preceded in death by her husband; parents; great grandson, Sam; siblings, Edward Eisele, Ida Essex, Elizabeth Beverlyn, half-siblings, Ralph Starkweather and Anna Starkweather.
