In contrast, colder-than-normal conditions will cover areas north of a line from the southern Rockies to Lake Michigan, including the northern and central Plains and upper Midwest.
Meanwhile, below-normal rainfall in southern Texas and peninsular Florida should contrast with wetter-than-normal weather across the remainder of the U.S.
