With more than 4 out of 5 Americans planning to tune in to the Super Bowl this Sunday, the pressure is on to grab those last minute foods and beverages we all know and love to overindulge in — Pizza, chicken wings, nachos… But what appetizer reigns supreme in the state of Iowa, you might wonder?

According to recent survey conducted by bid-on-equipment.com, chips and salsa are considered the most popular food to snack on during the season’s most anticipated game within the state.

The Super Bowl is often synonymous with buffalo wings, and unsurprisingly, wings are the most popular food in 7 different states. Illinois, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia all love buffalo wings. Other foods that took top spots include meatballs and queso.
