Minnesota’s Department of Agriculture has added nine weeds to the state’s Noxious Weed List.

Now, Johnsongrass, pale swallow-wort, and red hailstone must be eradicated with all parts of the plant destroyed.  Amur silvergrass, lesser celandine, and saltcedar are restricted and landowners are encouraged to prevent their spread.  Amur corktree, callery pear, and tatarian maple all have special regulations to manage each of the species.
