Lloyd G. Tedrow

Lloyd G. Tedrow, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., noon, on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, in Greenwood Cemetery.  Reverend Don Combs with Hospice Compassus will officiate. Military services will be conducted by the Honor Guard of Muscatine City Inc.  Pallbearers will be James Tedrow, Brian Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, Jodi Kuhljuergen, and Mikayla Cardenas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus in Lloyds Honor. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. Lloyd was born on August 28, 1942, in Fairfield, the son of Murl Gilmore and Neva Mae Kitchen Tedrow.  He married Nancy Ellison on June 24, 1967, in Fort Madison.

Lloyd was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea.

He worked in HVAC for many businesses in Muscatine. He loved playing guitar, tinkering with tools, working with his hands, listening to country music, watching movies, and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Tedrow of Muscatine; two children, Ann Jackson and husband, Brian, of Bettendorf, and James Tedrow and wife, Joyce, of Fruitland; three grandchildren, Nicholas Jackson of Clinton, Nathaniel Jackson of the United States Marines, currently overseas, and Mikayla Cardenas of Muscatine; two siblings, Beverly Kuhljuergen of Muscatine and Gary Tedrow and wife, Linda, of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leroy Clingman; infant brother, Murl; his sister, Sandra Cassaidy; and niece and nephew, Shirley and Ray Tedrow.
