Registration now open for Parks & Recreation grades 1-6 boys’ basketball clinic

The Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is now accepting registrations for the Grades 1-6 Boys Basketball Clinic. This program will be held on Saturday afternoons, January 7-28, in the Central Middle School Gymnasium.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of basketball through ball handling, shooting, and defensive techniques from trained Parks and Recreation staff.

Three age divisions will be offered for boys in the first through sixth grades. First and second grade boys will start at 2:00 pm, while third and fourth grade boys will play at 3:00 pm, and fifth and sixth grade boys will begin at 4:00 pm.

Registrations are being taken now with a $30.00 fee for Muscatine residents and a $35.00 fee for non-residents. All participants will receive a tee-shirt. You may reserve your spot over the phone at (563) 263-0241, in-person at the Parks and Recreation Department office, or by going online. Registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, December 30.
