U.S. officials are reviewing amendments to Mexico’s decree on biotech crops following a meeting in D.C. Friday.
Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack says the Mexican delegation made an effort to address concerns on import restrictions of biotech corn and other products and the U.S. plans to follow up after an assessment.
Vilsack has said he is in favor of filing a trade dispute if a resolution cannot be made.
