RFA: ethanol exports down in October

U.S. ethanol exports fell 17% from September to October. Those sales are impacted by several factors, including strength in the dollar relative to other currencies, which makes U.S. goods more expensive on the export market.

The Renewable Fuels Association says the monthly total was 83.8 million gallons, with Canada taking in more than half, holding onto the top slot for the nineteenth month in a row. The other major destinations were India, the European Union, Mexico, and South Korea.
