Ukrainian farmer thankful for average 2022 harvest

Ukrainian farmer Kees Huizinga says he had a successful fall harvest despite Russia’s continued invasion of the country.

“The season has been average,” he said. “I have come to appreciate weather problems, price problems, and logistical problems. You know, the normal agricultural challenges you are facing.”

Speaking to Brownfield during the National Association of Farm Broadcasting Convention in Kansas City, he says he will be returning to the farm for the spring season.
