A real estate expert says hunting leases provide added income for farmers and better opportunities for hunters.
Troy Langen with the Hunting Lease Network tells Brownfield farmers and ranchers can gain the benefits without the management hassles, whether they live on the property or not. “It’s obviously additional income from the property is what they can expect to bring in. With all of the management services in place, we make sure to take care of all of that paperwork from the accounting side of things to make sure the proper liability release is in place, what liability insurance coverage is in place, and not only that but just control of knowing who is on the property and who has permission to be out there.”
And Langen says hunters like having the ability to work with landowners to develop food plots, tree stand siting and having that piece of ground to themselves come hunting season.
