Gwendolyn E. Ketelsen, 81, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Lutheran Homes.
Funeral Service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Susan Bantz will officiate. Private family burial will follow in the Clinton Memorial Gardens.

Gwendolyn was born on May 23, 1941, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Gerhardt and Maudie Schultz Ketelsen. She graduated from Preston Highschool in 1959. She was an OB nurse, then a Nurse Anesthetist for 25 years in Muscatine, then moved to Atlantic, Iowa, later retiring.
Gwendolyn is survived by her siblings, Sandy Laeser and her husband, Rich, Doug Ketelsen and his wife, Mary Ann, Marlene Yeater, Wilma Jones, Delores Shoemaker, Norma Shoffner and her husband, Ronnie, Peggy Peitt; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; and brothers, Donald and Dean Ketelsen.
