Looking ahead, the 6- to 10-day outlook calls for below-normal temperatures and near- or below-normal precipitation across most of the country.  Warmer-than-normal weather will be confined to the southern tip of Florida.

Wetter-than-normal conditions should be limited to portions of the Rockies and adjacent High Plains, as well as an area stretching from the Gulf Coast into the southern Atlantic States.
