South Dakota farmer: storage is a premium

Gettysburg, South Dakota farmer Tregg Cronin tells Brownfield corn in the area is yielding 25 to 30 bushels above average. “It’s a very nice crop and the quality is great. Moisture is favorable and many farmers can go straight to the air bins or to the grain elevator. Storage is going to be a premium.” Cronin says most of the grain bins in the area are filling up and grain is being stored on the ground.
