CME butter prices plummeted again Tuesday

Milk futures were up in the near term and cash dairy prices were mixed with butter taking another big loss Tuesday on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

November Class III milk was up $0.12 at $20.59.  December was up $0.10 at $19.10.  January was up $0.01 at $18.82.  February was down $0.06 at $19.20.  March through September contracts ranged from four cents lower in March and May to ten cents lower in April and August. 

Dry whey was unchanged at $0.44.  Two sales were recorded at $0.44 and $0.4425.
