Hinson concerned about 2023 input costs

A US Representative from Iowa says she’s concerned about production costs for farmers heading into next year.

Republican Ashley Hinson tells Brownfield, “I had one farmer text me that his inputs are up 300%,” she said. “That is just unsustainable.”

She says inflation remains a concern. “Our farmers truly feed and fuel the world, and if their costs go up that does get passed on through the supply chain.”

Hinson says her PRECISE Act, passed by the House, would provide farmers with precision agriculture opportunities to help them be more efficient with their inputs.
