Soybean and cotton harvest both kicked off in Missouri last week as corn and rice harvest continue.
The USDA reports as of Sunday, 3% of soybeans are harvested, compared to the 5-year average of 4%. 45% of the crop is dropping leaves with 47% rated good to excellent.
Cotton harvest is 2% complete, compared to 5% on average. 66% of the crop is opening bolls and 52% is considered good.
