Corn and soybean harvest picked up speed last week despite some much-needed relief from drought.
USDA says six percent of corn is harvest and 37 percent is good-to-excellent. Fifty-two percent is mature. Four percent of soybeans have been harvested and 40 percent of the crop is good-to-excellent.
Eighteen percent of winter wheat has been planted, 14 percent behind the average.
Sorghum condition declined to 18 percent good-to-excellent with 3 percent of the crop harvested.
